TAP Portugal (TP)
Airline Overview
The country's flag carrier, TAP Portugal (TP) was founded in 1945. It operates from a primary hub at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS) and a secondary hub at Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO). A member of the Star Alliance, TAP Portugal flies to more than 75 destinations in over 29 countries across Europe, Africa, North America and South America. Of these, nine are domestic destinations. TAP Portugal also has codeshare agreements with 29 other carriers. The airline's fleet includes Airbus, ATR, and Embraer aircraft, most of which are configured with both Economy Class and Executive Class (TAP Portugal's brand name for Business Class) cabins.
