Ethiopian Airlines (ET) was founded in 1945 and is the nation of Ethiopia's flag carrier. The airline is completely government owned. It is headquartered in Addis Ababa and operates from a hub at the city's Bole International Airport (ADD). Ethiopian Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance. It also has codeshare agreements with 20 other carriers. The airline flies to about 20 domestic destinations and more than 90 international cities in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. The airline's fleet consists of modern Airbus, Boeing, and Bombardier aircraft, most of which are configured with Business Class (branded as Cloud Nine) and Economy Class cabins.
