Airline Overview
Spain's largest airline and its flag carrier, Iberia (IB) was founded in 1927. Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) serves as its primary hub and Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN) is a focus city. Iberia's parent company also operates Iberia Express (I2). A member of the Oneworld alliance, Iberia flies to about 110 destinations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, North America and South America. It also has codeshare agreements with more than 20 other carriers. Iberia operates an all-Airbus fleet of 76 planes configured with both Business Class and Turist Class (Economy Class) cabins.
