For rows 30 thru53 (or 231 seats) there are only 4 lavatories, long lines forming during a long flight (ICN-LAX). Although one could go to the rear, it is awkward to go through the galley between row 53 and row 54.

Nice flat bed set and great service, only downside was economy passengers sneaking into the business cabins ( there are two up stairs) when the lights are dimmed and using the facilities. They have to walk through to two galleys with closed curtains to this, the crew don't seem to stop them, they stumble around the darkened business cabin when people are sleeping and fiddle around with the closed the curtains.

Everything was great, great service, comfortable flat bed seat. The only down side was economy passengers sneaking to the business cabin to use the washroom and lounge, they stumble around in the darkened cabin after lunch/dinner service waking people up as they fiddle around with the closed curtain. The legroom for economy seating is noticeably roomier than most other trans-Pacific carriers. Even with a bag under the seat ahead, one can still stretch out. Also room enough to eat without hitting the seat in front. After 12 hours of flying, no stiffness or cramping. A very pleasant ride indeed.

OZ 203 LAX to ICN. First class, seat 1K. Unbelievably, I was the only passenger in the cabin this flight! Except for the reserve pilot who was resting in the back row. The only thing I could find to criticize is that the flight attendants' storage bins are right in front of 1F and right across from this seat, so there is occasionally chatting and banging of doors. Overall, wonderful service, great food, and a decently comfortable seat/bed.

Economy class seat. This seat has two side arm boxes available. Enough space is between the rows to have a comfortable flight. The seat itself is very hard and hurts a lot after the first few hours of flight. I'm frequently flying with a lot of different aircrafts but I never had a seat that hurt that much after a few hours. Food was good as usual, Service was friendly as they always are on any Asiana Flight. Except of the seat, everything was perfect as usual. In general, I can recommend this seat

There is a wall in front of these seats that is not shown on Asiana's own diagrams of this plane. They charge extra money for this seat but the only benefit of the seat is the extra recline the legroom is the same as other economy seats.

I think upper deck seats are better as it seems a little quieter since you are slightly further away from the engines. Also the economy window seats on the upper deck have small side storage just right underneath each window, handy for small things like purses. They are however might not be very clean as it's a close small bin that seems not to get cleaned too often. The extra flat space on the top of the storage bin is very useful as you can place things like small laptops and cups and books there so you don't have to use the table in front of you.

The advertised seat pitch is 33" and the seat back is at least 1" slimmer than other airlines. That makes the seat to be the most spacious in the market. Seat width is also the widest in the market. Recline is very generous. It reclines and slides forward at the same time. The seat back won't crowd into the passenger behind and you get good recline as the bottom part will slide forward. Wonderful experience in this fully sold out flight.

Business class seats have practically no usable storage areas aside from the overhead bins, and in case of window seats, the side storage bins between the seat and the window thanks to the upper deck's curvature. While most window seats get two storage bins, my seat 21K had only one; the other was marked "no storage" and was locked. Seat was excellent with many movement options but only average for sleeping in, especially with no duvet cover. No amenity kit, just eyeshade, earplugs, and slippers, though toiletries are readily available in lavatories. Overall I liked the service - great meals too - but I preferred flying on the United Polaris.

Lots of leg room as the emergency exit doesn't block any floor space, but you do lose some seat space due to the tray table being inside the armrest on the right side of the seat. The armrest on the left side doesn't move, which is a bit unfortunate, as it would make things a lot more comfortable. Note that there's no real storage here besides a shared "pouch" on the wall which also contains seat 70B's magazines etc.

This seat is pretty good, although due to the shape of the plane, you're quite far away from the wall and you can't really lean against it and sleep comfortably that way. The seat has normal recline, although as some others have said, Asiana's seats in the A380 are very firm and your backside goes numb very fast. The storage bin has exclusive access from this seat and isn't shared as on some other seats.

Good leg room and the 2x4x2 upper deck configuration makes the window seat much more pleasant on a long haul flight. The stand-out feature is the large storage compartment between the seat and window that is more than big enough for keeping your computer, books, headphones and work papers close at hand without taking up personal space.

This was my first trip with Asiana and I was impressed with the overall service. But the seats in travel/economy were extremely hard on the A-380, my butt was tired by push back from the gate and needless to said after a 12+ hour flight I didn't know if my butt was still there or had fallen off. I would like to think the seat design was contracted out and wasn't something that Airbus and/ or Asiana were involved with. But other than that the A-380 is a great riding airplane.

I sat in 3A LAX-ICN and 2K ICN-LAX. The window seats (A,K) in rows 1 and 3 have only 2 windows each; row 2A & K have 3 windows. This won't matter so much on a night flight. The seat is not the widest first class seat out there, but I discovered the armrests go down, and the seat was very wide then. Very comfortable as both a seat and bed (very small pillows). The food and service were exceptional. Pajamas too heavy, given how warm they keep the cabin (and no individually controlled vents).

Economy class on this plane is very uncomfortable; the B777 is better. The problem is the design of the seat. My tailbone stared to get sore a few hours into a 14-hr flight. My butt was sore for hours after the flight. I'll avoid the A380 whenever possible. As for seat 48E, due to the missing 47D seat, you can get out when somebody is seated next to you.

I have flown 1600 documented flights (flightmemory.com) and all told probably very close to 1900 times, 723 of those flights in first class and I have to say Asiana's First Class takes it to a new level. Suffice to say, it make the act of flying a pleasure.

I flew from Seoul to Hong Kong and this A380 First Class Suite is extremely spacious, with the largest television I have ever seen in a premium cabin. There are many areas to place your personal belongings- small items, as well as a wardrobe, and a sliding door for privacy. The bed is very comfortable and has easy to use functions for the seat, bed, recline. The ottoman is larger than any product I have ever seen on other carriers; more like a bench.

Window seats in Economy on the upper deck of the Asiana A380 have a shelf/storage bin. On seat 73K (and potentially others, I did not check) the bin is filled with electronics and not available.
