Carry-On Allowance : 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item
On all Volaris flights, each passenger is allowed one (1) carry-on bag and one (1) personal item. Both items must not weigh more than 15 lb (6.8 kg) and the external dimensions (H+L+W) must not exceed 41.2 in (104.6 cm). The personal item includes one of the following: purse, backpack, briefcase, or laptop case.
REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage Allowance: 1 bag
Passengers are allowed to bring one bag, weighing up to 55 lb (24.9 kg) with maximum dimesions totaling 62 in.
Add-ons can be purchased for an additional Fee:

To document oversized articles passengers should arrive at the airport 1 hour before flight departure to have enough time to document and for the article to be able to pass the different security filters.
Sports Equipment
Volaris permits the following sports equipment to be checked as baggage. If sports equipment exceeds the total free baggage allowance, it will be charged based on excess baggage requirements.
Skis, snowboards, and fishing rods- one set is accepted per passenger and includes one of the following:
- Skis, boots, poles
- Snowboard and boots
- Water skis
- One fishing rod and tackle box
Golf Clubs - One golf bag will be accepted per passenger containing a bag, golf clubs, balls, and shoes.
Football Equipment - Football equipment includes one helmet, a football, set of pads, and pair of cleats.
Bicycles - Each passenger is permitted one bicycle which must be transported in a box or bike bag, handle bars turned in, tires partially deflated, and pedals removed.
Skateboards and Scooters - All skateboards and scooters must be packed to prevent damage.
Scuba Gear - One set of scuba gear is accepted per passenger. Cylinders with compressed air are prohibited and may only be transported if they are empty. Tank valves must be open and diving lamps must be disconnected.
Surfboards - Surfboards under 6.6 feet (2 m) long are accepted but must have the fin removed and be packed properly.
