Airline Overview
SpiceJet's (SG) mission is to be the preferred low-cost airline in India. Founded in 2005, SpiceJet (SG) is headquartered in Gurgaon. It operates from primary hubs at Chennai International Airport (MAA), Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD), and a secondary hub at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM). SpiceJet serves more than 40 domestic India destinations several international destinations in Afghanistan, the Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates. Its modern fleet consists of Boeing 737-800 and -900 variants and Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft. Each aircraft is configured with a single Economy Class cabin.
