Founded in 1974, Royal Brunei (BI) is the national flag carrier of the Brunei Darussalam and wholly owned by the government of Brunei. It operates from a hub at Brunei International Airport (BWN). The carrier flies to 16 destinations in Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Europe. It also has codeshare agreements with about half a dozen other carriers, including Cathay Pacific (CX), Malaysia Airlines (MH) and Thai Airways (TG). The airline's fleet includes Airbus A320-200 and Boeing 787-8 planes configured with Business Class and Economy Class cabins.
