Carry-On Allowance: 1 bag + 1 Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item. Personal items include things such as a purse, briefcase, camera or diaper bag, laptop computer, or an item smaller than the aforementioned articles. Assistive devices, outer garments, umbrellas, food and drink purchased after clearing the security checkpoint, and duty-free merchandise do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:
- Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 23cm x 34cm x length 48cm or 9in x 13in x 19in (lenth+ width + height).
REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage
Passengers have the following checked baggage limits:
- Economy Class Passengers: 15kg (33lb) or 140cm (55in) in linear dimensions (sum of length, breadth and height of item).
- Infants (not occupying a seat): Not exceeding a total weight of 10Kgs. This will include the following items: Strollers,Carry Baskets and Car Seats.
- Manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, crutches and/or prosthetics for which passengers depend upon for mobility, are NOT included in the checked baggage allowance limitations.
- If the Passenger is travelling with children (occupying seats), the Passenger will be entitled to two of the following items as additional checked baggage allowance for each child: stroller, carry basket, car seat or fold-up cot, not exceeding a total of 10kg (22lb).
- Domestic animals, with the exception of guide & hearing dogs will be accepted for check-in but will not fall within a passengers check baggage allowance. Animals will be charged at the current excess baggage rate per kilogram.
Excess Baggage Rates
Domestic Flights
- An excess baggage fee of $5.50 (Inc GST) will be levied for each additional kg in excess of the 15kg (33lb) limit or $16.50 per piece if size exceeds linear dimension limits 55 linear inches or 140 cm.
International Connecting Passengers
- The baggage allowance is 20kg (44lb) regardless of the class of travel. International baggage (all classes of travel) in excess of 15kg (33lb) will be uplifted subject to capacity and in excess of 20kg (44lb) is subject to excess charges of $5.50 (Inc GST) per kg.
- Baggage in excess of 32kg (70lb) will be consigned as air freight.

Sports Equipment
Golf Equipment
- Is considered part of normal baggage weight and can be carried free if the customer's total checked weight is within the entitled free weight allowance. When carried in addition to the allowance, normal excess baggage charges apply.
Surfboards
- Must be less than 2m to be accepted at customer terminals. If over 2m, the surfboard must be consigned by an approved freight agent. If considered part of normal baggage weight it can be carried free if the customer's total checked weight is within the entitled free weight allowance.
- When carried in addition to the allowance normal excess baggage charges apply.
Bicycles (non-motorized)
- Limit to one per customer
- handlebars must be turned in, pedals and front wheel removed from front forks and strapped to rear wheel, and chain suitably protected.
- If considered part of normal baggage weight it can be carried free if the customer's total checked weight is within the entitled free weight allowance. When carried in addition to the allowance normal excess baggage charges apply.
Skis
- Standard allowance of 15kg for each passenger occupying a seat.
- Linear dimension restriction of 140cm (50in) per piece (Depth + Height + Length) applies.
- Snow Ski's are exempt from the linear restriction, however excess baggage charges will apply if the total baggage including snow skis exceeds the 15kg limit.
