Airline Overview
The country's national airline, Oman Air (WY) was founded in 1993 and operates from a hub at Muscat International Airport (MCT). It is wholly owned by the government of Oman. The carrier flies to about 45 destinations in 27 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. This includes four domestic destinations. Its largest international destination is India, where it serves 11 airports. Oman Air also has codeshare agreements with seven other carriers. The airline's fleet consists of 41 Airbus, Boeing and Embraer planes. Most have Business Class and Economy Class cabins, though some of its Airbus A330-300 aircrafts also have First Class cabins.
