What methods of transport does Middle East Airlines (ME) provide for my pet?
Pets may travel in the cabin or in the hold. Only cats and dogs are accepted for transport, and bird transportation is subject to country regulations.

Your pet and kennel must not exceed 10 kg, and the cage should not exceed 45 cm x 30 cm x 35 cm.
Does my pet qualify to travel in the hold?
Your pet and kennel must be under 75 kg.
What are the fees associated with pet transport?
The fee for animals travelling in the hold is 300 USD or the local equivalent. The fee for pets travelling in the cabin depends on the route taken and the weight of the pet and crate together. The fees are as follows:
- Flights between Beirut and Amman, Athens, Cairo, Larnaca, Istanbul, Yerevan, and Iraq:
- Pets and cages under 3 kg: 25 USD
- Pets and cages between 3 kg and 10 kg: 55 USD
- Flights between Beirut and Europe (excluding Athens), Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Doha:
- Pets and cages under 3 kg: 50 USD
- Pets and cages between 3 kg and 10 kg: 100 USD
- Flights between Beirut and Nigeria, Accra and Abidjan:
- Pets and cages under 3 kg: 75 USD
- Pets and cages between 3 kg and 10 kg: 150 USD
- Flights between Africa and Europe or the Middle East:
