What methods of transport does Jeju Air provide for my pet?
- Travel in the passenger cabin when the weight of the pet including the cage does not exceed 7kg.
Does my pet qualify for travel in the passenger cabin?
Pets that meet the following qualifications can travel in the passenger cabin:
- Traveling with pets is limited to dogs, cats, and birds only.
Pets must be domestic to carry in cabin, no international pets allowed. - Your pet can comfortably remain in its kennel, under the seat for the entire flight.
- Pet must be at least 8 weeks old.
- Pet should be fed at least two hours prior to the flight, and the bottom of the pet carrier should be covered with paper, towel, or cloth.
- Pets must be kept in cages throughout the duration of the flight.
- Declaration of indemnity (pet) is required at the Check-in Counter.
- The pet must be carried in a cage that is no greater than 100cm (the sum of the width, depth, and height); with a width of 37cm and height of 23cm.
Does my pet qualify for travel as checked baggage?
Pets are not allowed to travel as checked baggage on Jeju Air.

What are the fees associated with pet transport?
- There will be a service charge of about $2 USD (2,000 KRW) per kilogram.
NOTE: Regardless of your baggage allowance, service charge will be applied.
What are the kennel requirements?
In addition to the size and weight maximums kennels must meet the following requirements:
- Have enough room for the pet to comfortable stand and move
- Must be made of hard, solid materials (metal, wood, or plastic); soft cases made of cloth or leather materials are not allowed
- The kennel must be waterproof and ventilated
- There should be a lock that can be opened if necessary
- The name of the passenger and a contact number should be attached
What health documentation is required?
Jeju Air requires that a Declaration of indemnity needs to be submitted at the check- in counter. This ensures the conditions. It is the passenger's responsibility to be aware of all regulations, you should consult your veterinarian and the Department of Agriculture to ensure that your animal will comply with all requirements.
Are there any other restrictions?
Jeju Air can refuse to transport an animal that have taken sedatives or sleeping pills. Also, in alignment with legal regulations, pets that are pregnant, have odor problems, or aggressive behavior cannot be transported.

NOTE: Each adult passenger is allowed to bring one pet in one pet carrier. If there is a baby traveling with the mother, they should be kept in the same carrier.
NOTE: Only two pets are permitted on each aircraft. A reservation is required through the Jeju Air Reservation Center.
