Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:
- Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 22in x 16in x 10in/55cm x 40cm x 25cm
- Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22 lb/10 kg
REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

JMB Flyon Members, JGC Members
First/Business: 4 bags up to 70 lbs (32 kg) each
Economy/Premium Economy Class: 3 bags up to 70 lbs (32 kg) each

Sports Equipment
Some checked items, such as surfboards and bicycles will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other handling requirements while others may be checked in lieu of one of your checked bags. If you plan to travel with sporting equipment, contact Japan Airlines directly to confirm packing regulations and fees or visit their Baggage Information Page.
CPAP Devices:
The customer does not need to prepare a Medical certificate for Japan Airlines. Contact Japan Airlines Priority Guest Center in advance to advise us the name of the CPAP, product and manufacturer, model number, size and the battery type. Please be aware that not all CPAP is compatible onboard.
