Airline Overview
Founded in 1948, El Al is Israel's flag carrier. It operates from a hub at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV). The airline flies to three domestic destinations and about 50 international destinations in the Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. El Al is not a member of any formal airline alliance, but it does have codeshare agreements with sixteen other carriers. Its all-Boeing fleet of 40 passenger aircraft feature one-cabin (Economy Class), two-cabin (Business Class and Economy Class) and three-cabin (First Class, Business Class and Economy Class) configurations. The airline offers premium passengers access to six King David Lounges at major airports worldwide.
