You can bring your own single-prong headphones or purchase them onboard for $2. Power boxes are located under many of the seats in Economy, which greatly restricts legroom.

Overview

There are 18 777-200 ER/LR aircrafts in the Delta fleet which operate its international services.

Delta is in the middle of retrofitting all of their 777-200 ER/LR aircrafts with their new Delta One product as well as a refresh of the interior.

Delta's previous 777-200 ER/LR Delta One had a herringbone patten where all seats were angled towards the aisle, which provided maximum privacy and all seats have access to the aisle. In the new “Delta One” configuration, all business-class seats, which are suite-like seats, include a sliding privacy door. While the Delta One seat is an upgrade from the current business-class option on the 777, there will be fewer seats in that cabin. Prior to the retrofit, Delta’s 777s featured 37 business-class seats, now there are 28 business-class seats.

The window seats in row 35 have an offset window. The window for the row is mostly behind the passenger's head, and there is a considerable gap between it and the window for row 34, leaving quite a bit of blank wall visible from row 35.

My family and I recently flew on one of Delta's retrofitted 777 which featured the new Premium Economy cabin. I have to say we were all very impressed. From a pure seat standpoint premium economy is similar to what you would find in domestic first class. There is plenty of space to easily cross your legs and the seats are wider and include a bigger armrest that can be used to hold drinks etc. The foot rest was very nice for a long haul trip. Only downside was that I hoped the seats would lean back a little more (felt like it was no different than economy comfort). Entertainment screen was nice and big and the noise canceling headphones were great for watching movies. Food was outstanding and comparable to what you would find in international first class just a few years ago. Champagne was served during boarding. Plated meals included multiple courses and premium wine and drinks. Overall, premium economy was outstanding and definitely worth the extra money.

Great leg room and a nice plane ride. This plane works for long trips to allow walking every 2hrs. You can do a U walk in each class making the flight go well. You get on added benefit of a 6000 foot cabin. This is much better than most.
