Carry-On Allowance

Carry-on allowance varies by class:

  • b.light: 1 carry-on and 1 personal item weighing no more than 6 kg (13 lbs)
  • b.flex: 1 carry-on and 1 personal item weighing no more than 12 kg (26 lbs)
  • b.business: 2 carry-on and 1 personal item totaling no more than 16 kg (25 lbs)
  • Economy: 1 carry-on and 1 personal item weighing no more that 12 kg (26 lbs)
  • Business: 2 carry-on and 1 personal item totaling no more than 16 kg (35 lbs)

Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage:

Each piece of hand luggage may not be larger than 55 x 40 x 23 cm (L x W x H)

REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Size/Weight Requirements

Baggage must be 23 kg (50 lbs) or less and 158 cm or 62" (L x W x H) for Economy Classes and 32 kg (70 lbs) or less and 158 cm or 62" (L x W x H) for Business Class.

Oversize Baggage Fees

Please consider that every piece of luggage should not exceed the limit of 32 kg (70 lbs). Luggage weighing more than 32 kg (70 lbs) will not be accepted at check-in and must considered as cargo. Please contact Brussels Airlines Cargo for more information.

CPAP Devices:

CPAP devices may be brought and used on board as long as they follow these restrictions: (1) The device must be switched off and stowed during taxi, take off, landing and in situations where the crew deems it necessary. (2) For CPAP devices powered by lithium batteries, each battery may not exceed 160Wh.(3) If the device must be used permanently during the flight, please make sure you have sufficient battery power for the entire flight, taking in account possible delays or irregularities. (4) You are not allowed to connect your CPAP to the power outlets of the aircraft. (5)The device must be stowed on board in compliance with safety regulations.
