Does Air Transat have online check-in?
Yes, Air Transat has online check-in for some destinations. Passengers departing from most U.S. and Canadian locations and some international locations may check-in online between 24 hours and 2 hours before time of departure. Pasdengers must print their online boarding pass, have a valid passport, and check-in with a maximum of 9 passengers. Check-in Counters
All passengers are asked to check in at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure of their flight. Please note that all travellers must be present with their boarding documents, passport and visas necessary for the destination, tickets, and baggage in order to receive a boarding card.
Check-in Counter Closing Times
Due to enhanced security measures at all airports, and in order to leave on time and respect the schedule of Air Transat, they close their check-in counters 1 hoyr before departure.* Passengers arriving late for check-in may be denied boarding.
Can I change/select my seat online?
Yes, when you use the Seat Selection System.
Air Transat charges several tiers of fees for seat selection depending on the seat and destination.
Florida and South Destinations:
- Regular Seat A310 and A330: US/CA$15
- Bulkhead Seat in lateral rows and emergency exit A310 and A330: US/CA$35
- Two-by-Two Seats A310 and A330-200: US/CA$25
European destinations excluding the United Kingdom:
- Regular Seat A310 and A330: US/CA$20 and €15
- Bulkhead Seat in lateral rows and emergency exit A310 and A330: US/CA$60 and €43
- Two-by-Two Seats A310 and A330-200: US/CA$30 and €21
United Kingdom:
- Regular Seat A310 and A330: US/CA$15 and £9
- Bulkhead Seat in lateral rows and emergency exit A310 and A330: US/CA$98 and £59
- Two-by-Two Seats A310 and A330-200: US/CA$30 and £15
