Does AirBaltic have online web check-in?
Yes, you may check-in for your AirBaltic flight online. Online check-in for AirBaltic flights opens 5 days (118 hours) before the scheduled departure for Business, Premium and Basic Class ticket holders who has reserved a seat for the flight in advance. For Basic Class ticket holders without seat preferences online check-in will be opened 36 hours before the scheduled departure. Online check-in for codeshare flights (flights operated by another airline) is available 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
On connecting flights where the second flight is operated by another airline, check-in for both flights at once is available 24 hours before departure. Check-in deadlines vary by airport and class so please click here for specific information
Can I check bags with the AirBaltic online web check-in?: Yes. If you want to check in your bags, leave them at the baggage drop-off counter at Riga airport or an Economy Class check-in counter at other airports free of charge. Please note that the baggage drop-off desk closes at the same time as the check-in desk.
Does AirBaltic offer mobile check-in?
Yes, you may check-in for your AirBaltic flight with your mobile device. Use your mobile phone (with an internet connection) to check in for your flight. No printer needed – just retrieve the boarding pass we sent to your inbox, or save the image offline.

You may use this option if:
- You have an electronic ticket and the first flight is on AirBaltic
- You may access your reservation with your confirmation code, e-ticket number, or frequent flyer account
- You are not a special needs passenger (for example, an unaccompanied minor)
- You are departing from an airport which accepts mobile boarding passes (if not, then you may check-in and print a boarding pass at the self-service kiosk or ticket counter).

Does AirBaltic offer Twilight check-in?
Yes. If your flight departs from Riga airport, you are most welcome to use the Twilight check-in service – letting you check-in for your flight and drop off your luggage from 7pm to 10pm on the day before your scheduled departure. This allows you to go directly to security control and on to your departure gate on the day of departure. Please take into account that there may be lines at security control, so we recommend arriving at the airport early enough, so you can be at the boarding gate at least 25 minutes before your flight departure.
Does AirBaltic offer self-service kiosk check-in?
Yes. If your flight departs from Riga, Stockholm Arlanda or Copenhagen airport, you can print your boarding pass at one of the self check-in kiosks located in the departure hall. A self check-in kiosk is easy to use and it takes approximately 1.5 minutes to check in. You will have to enter your booking reference and family name, mark passengers you want to be checked in for the flight and wait for your boarding pass to be printed out. If you are checking a bag, use the baggage drop-off counter free of charge.
What is the deadline for self-service kiosk check-in? The check-in deadline corresponds with the check-in deadline of your flight, which at Riga airport is 40 minutes for Economy Class passengers and 30 minutes for Business Class passengers.
Please note that if you have baggage to drop off, you need to arrive at the airport even earlier, because the deadlines for baggage drop-off are also 40 minutes for Economy Class passengers and 30 minutes for Business Class passengers. Please also take into account that there may be lines by the baggage drop-off points, therefore we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure.
Self service check-in is available for all AirBaltic passengers with the exception of the passenger categories mentioned below:
- Passengers travelling to countries that require passenger passport data to be provided by the airline before departure (United Kingdom);
- Passengers travelling with pets;
- Passengers on charter flights;
- Passengers using the unaccompanied minor service;
- Passengers transporting a cello;
- Passengers who have booked an extra seat;
- Passengers who have booked medical assistance;
- Passengers with identical name and surname in one booking;
- Passengers transporting weapons;
- Children booked in a separate reservation.

Yes, you may check-in for your AirBaltic flight at the airport ticket counter to receive a printed boarding pass and check baggage/hold luggage. Note: Check-in at the airport costs 35 EUR per passenger per direction, yet this check-in fee is not applicable to the following passenger categories:
- Passengers with Premium or Business tickets;
- Passengers who have purchased Priority check-in;
- Passengers who have already checked in online or at a self service check-in kiosk;
- Passengers travelling from destinations where online check-in is not available;
- Passengers who are AirBaltic Club VIP and Executive members (a AirBaltic membership card has to be presented);
- Passengers with reduced mobility;
